Transparency & Stewardship
Christ Centred, People Caring Ministry. Operating in the light — because integrity is not optional, it is a sacred trust.
Our Commitment
We Are Committed to Integrity and Stewardship
Friends of Malton, transparency is more than just a legal requirement—it is a sacred trust. When someone gives to this ministry, they aren't just shifting numbers in a ledger; they are trusting us with their sacrifice to do God's work. We believe that every dollar donated is “holy seed,” and we are committed to stewarding those resources with the highest level of integrity and accountability.
As the spiritual successors of the Malton Church of God—a ministry with a 30-year reputation for faithfulness—we carry the responsibility of maintaining that legacy of trust. Transparency means operating in the light, being accountable to God and to our community, and ensuring that our integrity remains as strong as our faith.
We are currently organizing our reports and financial documents to make them available here. In the meantime, if you have any questions about our finances or governance, please contact us at: friendsofmalton@gmail.com
Our Principles
Three Pillars of Our Transparency Commitment
Section 1:
Stewardship and Accountability
We view every dollar donated as "holy seed" entrusted to our care. As a registered non-profit organization, we strictly adhere to all federal and local regulations governing charitable organizations in Canada. This means we maintain rigorous financial records, undergo necessary reviews, and ensure that our operations remain above reproach.
To us, being "open" means that any supporter can feel confident that their contribution is being handled with excellence and integrity. We don't just practice good accounting because it's the law—we do it because we are accountable to God first, and to our community second.
"We serve a God of light, and therefore we operate in the light."
Section 2:
Clarity of Impact
Transparency means showing, not just telling. We are committed to providing Annual Reports that clearly break down:
- →Where the money goes: A percentage breakdown of funds allocated to our four ministry pillars
- →What was achieved: Connecting those dollars to real-world outcomes—such as the number of families served, workshops hosted, events organized, and lives impacted
- →Future strategic goals: Our vision for the year ahead and how we plan to expand our reach
These reports ensure that every donor and supporter can see exactly how their investment is making a tangible difference in the Malton community.
Section 3:
Open Communication
We don't believe in "closed-door" leadership. Transparency means being accessible to our community and our donors at all times. Whether through annual general meetings, regular updates on our digital platforms, or direct communication with our leadership team, we keep our stakeholders informed about:
- →Our challenges and how we're addressing them
- →Our victories and answered prayers
- →Our future goals and strategic initiatives
We invite questions, feedback, and constructive dialogue because we believe that accountability strengthens trust, and trust deepens partnership.

Our Sacred Trust
Our Commitment Statement
Honoring a 30-Year Legacy of Integrity
For over 30 years, the Malton Church of God built a reputation for faithfulness, integrity, and transparent stewardship. As the Friends of Malton, we are the guardians of that legacy. We understand that trust is earned through consistency, honesty, and accountability.
Every financial decision we make is bathed in prayer. Every program we launch is measured against our mission. Every dollar we spend is accounted for with the same rigor we would use if we were standing before God Himself—because ultimately, we are.
We are not perfect, but we are committed. We are not flawless, but we are faithful. And we believe that by operating with radical transparency, we honor God, honor the saints who came before us, and honor every person who partners with us in this mission.
“Our commitment to transparency is our way of honoring the 30-year reputation of the Malton Church of God, ensuring that our integrity remains as strong as our faith.”
