Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the Friends of Malton website (friendsofmalton.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. Friends of Malton (“FOM,” “we,” “us”) is a registered Canadian Christian non-profit organization based in Ontario, Canada. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or services.
Use of Our Website
You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not:

Membership Accounts

Community Features
Our website offers community features including a Members Directory, Community Forum, Classifieds, Marketplace, Prayer Wall, and Guestbook. By using these features, you agree that:
- • All submissions (forum posts, classified ads, marketplace listings, prayer requests, guestbook entries) are subject to moderation and approval by FOM staff
- • Content you submit must be truthful, respectful, and consistent with our values of faith, dignity, and community
- • You will not post personal contact information of others without their consent
- • FOM reserves the right to remove any content that violates these terms or is deemed inappropriate
- • Marketplace and classified transactions are conducted between members — FOM does not facilitate or guarantee transactions
Donations
All donations to Friends of Malton are voluntary and processed securely through Stripe. Donations are considered final once processed. Donation confirmation receipts will be provided for your records.
If you believe a donation was made in error, please contact us as soon as possible at friendsofmalton@gmail.com and we will work with you to resolve the situation.
Event Tickets and RSVPs
Event tickets purchased through our website are subject to the specific terms of each event. Refund policies, if applicable, will be communicated at the time of purchase. RSVPs for free events are non-binding but appreciated for planning purposes. FOM reserves the right to limit attendance based on venue capacity.
Intellectual Property
All content on the Friends of Malton website — including text, images, logos, graphics, and design — is the property of Friends of Malton or its content providers and is protected by Canadian copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without prior written permission.
Third-Party Links and Services

We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of these external services.
