In Memoriam
Remembering the Saints Who Built Our Foundation
A Pillar of Gratitude
Remembering the Saints Who Built Our Foundation
This page is sacred ground. Here, we honor the beloved members of the Malton Church of God who have transitioned from labor to reward. These faithful servants were not just attendees—they were pillars. They were the prayer warriors who interceded on their knees, the deacons and deaconesses who served with tireless devotion, the choir members whose voices lifted our spirits, and the faithful givers whose sacrificial love built a sanctuary where generations encountered God.
Their legacy is not measured in buildings or programs, but in the lives they touched, the faith they modeled, and the love they poured into this community. From the pioneers who gathered in Darcel Public School in 1977 to those who filled the pews at 7050 Bramalea Road during its golden years, each person honored here played an irreplaceable role in the story God was writing through the Malton Church of God.
Though they are no longer with us in body, their influence remains. Their prayers are still being answered. Their investments are still bearing fruit. Their commitment to the Gospel continues to inspire us today.
“Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his faithful servants.”
More Than Nostalgia — This is Stewardship
Why We Remember
To Preserve Their Legacy
Every life honored here left an indelible mark on the Malton Church of God. Their faithfulness built the community we now serve. We preserve their stories so that future generations will know the giants upon whose shoulders we stand.
To Teach Faithfulness
These saints modeled what it means to serve God with consistency, generosity, and devotion — not for recognition, but out of love. Their example teaches us that a life well-lived is measured by faithful service to God and neighbour.
To Continue Their Mission
The best way to honor the dead is to continue the work they began. Every event we host, every family we serve, and every prayer we lift is a continuation of the ministry they poured their lives into.
Submit a Family Message
If your loved one is honoured on this page, you may submit a family message to be displayed on their memorial card. All submissions are reviewed before publishing.
For Those Who Come After Us
A Bridge Between Generations
This memorial page serves as a bridge — a connection between the past and the present, between the elders who laid the foundation and the youth who will carry the mission forward. When young people see these faces, they realize they are part of a long, unbroken chain of faith.
To the children and grandchildren of those honoured here: This is your heritage. These are your spiritual mothers and fathers. The prayers they prayed are still being answered in your life. Honour their memory by living with the same devotion, the same generosity, and the same faith that defined their lives.
