Bishop Wilson,

To me you’ll always be Pastor Wilson! Words seem inadequate to express the depth of gratitude I feel for the profound and instrumental influence you have had on my life since I was just a little kid. I think many of us can say that. As an adult looking back, I can clearly see how your guidance, wisdom, and unwavering support have shaped the person I am today.

From those early years, you have been more than just a pastor; you have been a true role model. Your cool and calm demeanour has always been top tier! Something you just can’t help but admire and want to emulate. Your passionate dedication to your faith, your compassionate leadership within the Malton Church of God (now New Life Covenant Centre) where I attended, and your unwavering commitment to our community have always been an inspiring example for me to follow. There were many Sundays when I was fooling around outside of church, but there were many Sundays I sat in church, and when I sat in church and really paid attention to your messages you were always dropping many gems of wisdom. Listening to you talk even as an adult oftentimes ignites a deeper understanding of my own faith and strengthens my connection with God. Your teachings were not just words; they were filled with a genuine love and a desire to see us all grow spiritually.

Beyond the pulpit, you have been a constant source of loving support even as many of us grew older and headed out into the world in different directions, you never forgot about me, always asking my mom for us “Where are my babies? How are my babies?”. There has never been a single moment in my life where I ever felt like you didn’t care about me. Anything that comes from you is purely genuine. I especially admired your ability to connect with people of all ages, always offering a kind word, a listening ear, or a gentle nudge in the right direction.

Witnessing your deep love and devotion to your family over many years has also been a powerful example to me. Your dedication to your family has always shone through, illustrating the importance of loyalty, faithfulness, and love in all aspects of life. You truly embody what it means to be a loving family man, and that has been a valuable lesson in itself. An example I carried with me when I too became a father.

Bishop Wilson, you have been a steadfast supporter, a guiding light, and a true friend. Your impact on my life is immeasurable, and I am eternally grateful for the years of mentorship, spiritual inspiration, and unwavering belief you have shown in me. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for being such a wonderful and instrumental influence in my life. I’m really glad that you are getting the flowers you deserve!

You will always be "The Peoples Pastor"

With deepest respect and gratitude,

Michael Wilson

Greetings Pastor Wilson, I would like to take a moment to honor and remember a remarkable man of God’s people. Though the seasons have changed and time has moved forward, your impact remains deeply woven into the fabric of our hearts.

Your faithful service, unwavering dedication, and compassionate leadership have left an indelible mark on our lives.

You walked with us in times of joy and sorrow, guided us with wisdom and strength. You poured your heart into the Church ministry, sowing seeds of faith that continue to bear fruit in our lives.
